«Carabela» Creates My Present Life

«Carabela» Creates My Present Life

I open heavy metal door with painted anchors on it, cross threshold and have to blink for moment because an orange wave is flooding my sight, full of hilarious rumbling, children’s laugh and lots of palms outstretched for a handshake… This is how I remember 4th of October, 2008, the day when I came to the ‘Carabela’ squadron first time in my life. A great deal of things changed in the squadron since then – from the door with anchors to the...

The Rules of Conduct on the Base of Ekaterinburg Sea School

A lot of guests come to the squadron frequently – both to the premises on 44, Mira Street and to the base of Ekaterinburg sea school (ESS). The “Carabela” members always greet the guests with joy even if such a meeting wasn’t planned. When you come to the sailing practice as a guest, one of the instructors or commanders will instruct you on the safety rules on water (you can read or download it in the part “For “Carabela” members”) and on...

Helloy, you are in our squadron

Helloy, you are in our squadron

We always interact on a first-name basis because in “Carabela” everyone is on equal terms: children and adults. Now everything may be of interest to you: uniform, sparkling stripes, marine devices, trip and adventure stories, incl. foil clank. And it would be unfair not to warn you. The life “Carabela” squadron is not a holiday. Sometimes each newcomer may be bored with his uniform, his foil may seem heavier than usual, and summer sailing trips...
